Happy Early Music Day!
Our conductor Claudio Astronio will be among the artists celebrating the Early Music Day, performing live tonight on Italian National Radio

Meet Theresia: Lino Mendoza
"Theresia has a very particular way to bond between the members of the projects: since the beginning you can feel like you are part of a family. "

Meet Theresia: Sophie Simpson
"I like working with Theresia because I have met some wonderful musicians with whom I have so much in common, and who inspire me to think and play in different ways. Above all, I have made some great new friends who I hope to remain in contact with forever. Working regularly with the same group of musicians from all over the world is an opportunity I haven’t had through any other ensemble."

What’s next: 2019 in one glance
2019 will be a rich year, with two big orchestral projects, a wind academy and three special projects for strings. Good for the newcomers that will join Theresia after the upcoming string auditions!

Olga Pashchenko: “Theresia is real musical life”
Projects like Theresia give to young musicians the possibility to grow and develop their skills in a very lively environment. It is a great opportunity to get precious experience because this is actually real musical life."

Meet Theresia: Alaia Ferran
" In Theresia, I have met many colleagues with whom I still play inside and outside the orchestra. I have met great musicians who are the professionals of tomorrow whom I consider a very valuable contact, professionally and humanly speaking."

Theresia wants you!
New auditions are scheduled for February 2019. A can't-miss chance to join the orchestra.

The Haffner Symphony: or, how to write a Serenade overnight and come up with a symphonic masterpiece
Music lovers know that the Haffner Symphony K 385 is one of Mozart’s masterpieces: Theresia Youth Orchestra has recently introduced it in its repertoire and will perform it as a part of the opening of Risonanze Festival, together with music by Joseph Martin Kraus. But, what do we know about Haffner Symphony? And what does “Haffner” mean?

Back to Kraus! (and Mozart)
In our next concerts we'll perform both music by Kraus, one of our favourite composers, and by Mozart
