Chamber Music Academy Residency 46 – Geneva

Beethoven revised
At our annual chamber music academy in Geneva, six string players, a flute, and two horn players will be guided by the inspirational violinist Chiara Banchini. We’ll continuo our ongoing series of exploring transcriptions of Beethoven’s symphonies adapted for chamber ensemble.

Symphony No. 2 will be featured in this annual residency, paired with a nocturne by one of Vienna’s first music publishers, composer Franz Anton Hoffmeister. The final concerts takes place at the charming chamber music festival Concerts d’été de St Germain.
